WNO Liechtenstein was founded

A national association of WNO was founded in the Principality of Liechtenstein (Europe) to coordinate environmental activities in Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Austria. Above all, it is a platform for discussion on environment by organizing conferences and providing analysis and information for policy makers and the concerned public.

The local organization will cover a wide range of issues regarding the atmosphere, marine and terrestrial ecosystems, environmental governance and green economy.

The Organization shall play a significant role in promoting environmental science and information and illustrating the way those can be implemented in conjunction with economic development.
